The Bedford MA Turkey Trot is back this year and ready to bring the town together on Thanksgiving Day morning. You can choose between a 5K run and a 2-mile walk. Entry for each is $20 and goes towards supporting the Bedford MA Food Bank.
The roads aren’t closed for the race so they do have a limit of 250 runners and you can’t register the day of—it’ll probably sell out before that anyways. So, hop online now and register to ensure you can run with the group! They’re selling some pretty awesome long-sleeve running shirts you can add-on to your registration. Since they want all the proceeds to go to the food bank, you do have to pay for it. But, it’s a good cause, right?
If you’re not a runner but you’d still like to volunteer some time to kick off your Thanksgiving morning, you can sign up to be a volunteer for the race. According to the website, most jobs are pretty easy and take less than an hour. So get out there and support our town in whatever way you can this Thanksgiving!
